Terms, Policies and Related Information:
 
Terms:
     All animals are conditionally guaranteed to arrive alive provided all of the following conditions are met.

1. The low temperature for the day must be above 40 degrees and the high temperature for the day must be below 88 degrees at the destination. This specifically refers to the lowest and the highest temperature for the day. It does not refer to the exact temperature at the exact time of arrival. Weather information for you location is taken from the weather channel and NOAA National Weather Service.

2.  Animals shipped by FedEx priority overnight delivery service must be delivered the next day on the first attempt and before 12:01 p.m. Individuals living in remote areas where normal delivery times may be later should email me to discuss shipping alternatives. A signature is required for the receipt of all shipments. I am not responsible for weather conditions, mechanical failures, mishandling by the carrier or carrier delays that could void the live arrival guarantee.

3.  Animals shipped by Delta air cargo must be picked up within four (4) hours of their scheduled arrival time. This refers specifically to the time they arrive (when the plane lands). It does not refer to the time that you were called and notified of their arrival. Please be aware that the carrier often does not notify the consignee (you) of arrival especially when shipments are sent by Dash service. I am not responsible for weather conditions, mechanical failures, mishandling by the carrier or carrier delays that could void the live arrival guarantee.

     All of these conditions (1 and 2 or 1 and 3) are required for the live arrival guarantee to be valid. Failure to meet any one of these conditions for any reason will void the guarantee and your right to any claims. Unless mutually agreed upon in writing and signed by both parties no other policies, terms, or guarantees will apply.
 
Claims, Credits, and Refunds:
     There are three criteria that you must meet before any claims for credit or refunds will be considered.

1.  DO NOT DISPOSE OF THE ANIMALS. The problem animals (alive or dead) must be available to be returned at my request. This is how your claim will be verified. If you are unwilling or unable to return the animals (alive or dead) then no claim will be considered.

2.  You must report in detail the exact problem with your order by email within 24 hours from the time the animal arrived at the airport, customer service center, or your location. In addition you may call at 321 505 0504 but only to confirm that I have received your email. If I do not receive an email within 24 hours then no claim will be considered. Please note that all emails have a date and time stamp.

3.  You must first meet all of the conditions (1 and 2 or 1 and 3) set forth above in the Guarantee. If you failed to meet or comply with any one of those conditions no claim will be considered.

     Once I have determined that you have a valid claim I will at my discretion offer you either a refund, replacement animals, or credit to be used on a future purchase. Please note that any credits and refunds for shipping and packing charges are at my discretion.
 
General Business Policies and other Information:
 
Animal Health:
     All animals are sold in apparent good health at the time of their sale. This refers only to conditions that are clearly visible to the eye at the time of the animal is packed for shipping.

     Conditions that are not considered apparent include but are not limited to internal injuries, viral, bacterial, or parasitic diseases that at the time of packing were asymptomatic or any other conditions that require sampling, testing, x-rays, or lab work of any type. Parasitic diseases include both endoparasites (internal) and ectoparasites (external). Because ectoparasites such as mites, ticks, and leaches are not always clearly visible and are easily treated they are not considered in determing an animal's apparent good health.

     All animals, both wild caught and captive born, may have have parasites and possibly other diseases. While I do not quarantine or treat any animal prior to its sale I strongly recommend that all newly acquired animals, regardless of their origins, be quarantined for a minimum of at least 60 days prior to their introduction to any collection. It is the responsibility of the buyer to quarantine and treat the animals as they see fit. I am more than happy to consult with anyone on this topic whether you purchased your animals from me or someone else.
 
Animal Sexing:
     Invertebrates (all): Correct sexing is not ever guaranteed. Upon request I will do my best to sex the animals, but under no circumstances is correct sexing ever guaranteed.

     Amphibians (all), Lizards (all), Snakes (all), Tortoises (all), and Turtles (all): Correct sexing is not guaranteed. Upon request I will do my best to correctly sex any of these animals but correct sexing is not guaranteed. There are species and circumstances where exceptions can be made however this must agreed upon and acknowledged by me in writing prior to the sale and shipping of the animals.

     I have a great deal of experience sexing a large variety of species. Many species can be sexed easily and accurately however there are some species or circumstances where sexing is not obvious or cannot be easiliy or safely done. As a result there is always a possibility of errors. If you require sexing of the animals you wish to order please feel free to inquire. You will get an honest response.


     Please remeber that sexing guarantees must be agreed upon and acknowledged by me in writing prior to the sale and shipping. If I agree to guarantee correct sexing you will have 24 hours to inform me if you feel the animals have been incorrectly sexed.
 
Cancellation of Orders:
     You may cancel your order by sending me an email at anytime prior to shipping and receive a full refund of your payment. An exception to this policy will occur if the animal was specifically special ordered for you. In this case only 50% of the total sales price, including shipping and packing, will be refunded. The remaining 50% will be billed as a service charge.

     Orders that have already been shipped or are in transit and then canceled will be billed for shipping charges both ways plus a 20% service fee. After these charges have been deducted the remainder of you payment will be refunded. An exception to this policy will occur if the animal was specifically special ordered for you. In this case you will be charged for shipping both ways plus a 50% service fee. Once these charges have be deducted the remainder of your payment will be refunded.

     In both of these situations your refund is conditional upon the safe return of the animals. If the animals are returned alive and unharmed then you will be refunded as noted above. If the animals are returned dead or injured then you will not receive any refund at all.

     Please note that once an order has been shipped your refusal to accept the order for any reason will be considered as cancellation of the order. All of the previously mentioned charges will then be applied.

     I reserve the right to refuse to take your order or cancel it at anytime without explanation. In the event that I cancel your order after receipt of your payment you will recieve a full refund for all charges.
 
Legal Age Requirement:
     I will not knowingly sell to anyone under the age of eighteen (18). Proof of age may be required for any sale at my discretion. Proof of age is always required for anyone purchasing venomous reptiles. If upon my request you are unwilling or unable to provide verifiable proof of age your order will be canceled.
 
Legal Requirements for all Sales:
     I will not knowingly ship any animals in violation of any state or federal laws. If I advise you that an activity is illegal and you believe I am incorrect all you need to do is provide me with verifiable proof that the activity is legal. The following will be considered verifiable proof: A letter from the appropriate agency that regulates the activity stating that it is legal. Reference to the official web site of the appropriate agency where it clearly shows that the activity is legal. A copy of a permit or letter of authorization from the regulating agency showing that you are allowed to conduct the activity. Be aware that I make contact that agency to confirm that your permit is valid.
 
Payments:
     All orders must be prepaid in full prior to shipping. All orders are shipped as soon as possible after receipt of full payment. See the section below on shipping for full details.
     Payments can be made in the following manners;
     Paypal instant payment is the preferred method of payment. Please be aware that orders paid for through paypal will only be shipped to the buyers confirmed address as noted in the transaction details provided by paypal. Paypal does allow buyers to change or add confirmed addresses. Beforeplacing your order please check your paypal account to be sure the shipping address is correct and confirmed. When sending your payment be sure to select goods as the type of transaction. Confirmed shipping addresses will not appear in the details box for transactions marked as services or personal. Payments received with no confirmed address or where the address does not appear in the transaction details box will be immediately refunded.

     I prefer not to accept e-checks. Payments for orders that are received as e-checks will not be shipped until I have received notification from paypal that the funds are cleared and available in my account. This process may take 3 to 5 business days. Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing prior to receipt of payment the animals will not be held while waiting for the payment to clear. In the event I am out of stock when the payment funds have cleared and are in my account I will at your request; refund your payment in full or hold the funds until the animals are restocked and then shipped.

     Credit card payments are also acceptable. There is a sales agreement form that I use for all credit card transactions. I generally provide this form and other payment information with each price quote sent by email. I do not accept Discover Card.

     Payments may also be made by postal money order. I do not hold animals while waiting on the mail to arrive. I will make an exception if your payment is sent by a type of priority service that provides a verifiable tracking number.

     Animals are not considered sold until full payment is received. Unless otherwise agreed upon in advance and in writing I do not accept deposits or payments to hold animals.

     Your payment is acknowledgement that you have read and agreed to all the terms of sale as forth on this page. No other terms, conditions, or policies will apply unless mutually agreed upon in writing prior to receipt of your payment.
 
Pricing and Availability:
     Prices are subject to change without notice. I frequently post animals for sale in classified ads on the internet. In the event that a price in a classified ad is different from the price posted on this web site the classified ad will always be considered the correct price. This is regardless of that price being higher or lower.

     Livestock comes and goes daily. Some species are available nearly all year around and may appear on my website or in my classified ads all the time. These animals may sell out and be restocked on a day to day or week to week basis. Other species may only be available at specific times of the year. A few species are so seldomly available that may never be posted on this website or in a classified ad. If you are looking for something in particular please feel free to ask. I do maintain a want list and there is no obligation to purchase required to be put on this list.
 
Shipping and Packing:
 
Shipping:

     Orders may be delivered by the following methods:

     FedEx priority overnight service directly to your door. You or your agent will be required to be present and sign for the package when it arrives. Orders that have paid for by paypal will only be shipped to the confirmed address as it appears in the transaction details box sent to the seller. This is in accordance with paypal's buyer/seller protection recommendations and no exceptions will be made. Paypal does allow you to change or add confirmed addresses to your account.

     Shipping charges for FedEx orders vary based on their actual weight, dimensional weight, and destination. Rates are typically as follows;
$45.00 for a 12x10x7 box, $50.00 for 14x14x8 box, $65.00 for a 17x17x10 box, $85.00 for a 17x17x20 box, $105.00 for a 17x17x30 box, and $140.00 for a 34x17x20 box. There are some circumstances where actual shipping rates could be slightly higher or lower.

     Depending on your location deliveries are generally at 10:30 a.m. however some remote areas may not have deliveries until late in the afternoon or early evening. If you live in a remote area we recommend that you contact us to discuss shipping options such as having the order held for pickup at a local hold facility.

     Shipping an order marked hold for pickup is not only recommended if you live a remote area but also when there are adverse weather conditions that could delay or in other ways cause harm or danger to the animals.

     Delta air cargo services. Delta offers two types of shipping services.

     Delta Dash is a counter to counter service that expidites the order through priority loading, flight connections, and off loading. Depending on your location and when the order is tendered to Delta for shipping delivery times for this service may be as quick as 4 hours or up to 12 hours. Charges for this service are $115.00 for up to 50 lbs or a dimensional weight of 34x34x20 and must be prepaid with the order itself. There are also special rates available for orders that over 50 lbs.

     Regular cargo, once referred to as P1, is not an expidited service. The order must be tenedered several hours before the departure flight. If the it is a connecting flight the order may be delayed as much as 12 hours before making the next flight. Upon arrival the order is off loaded with the regular cargo which may take several hours. Depending on your location and when the order is tenedered to Delta for shipping delivery times for this service may be as quick as 4 hours or as long as 24 hours.
